John-Paul believes offering clients the latest in tile trends sourced from around the world, backed by friendly expert advice is what makes livingtiles a unique place to shop.

Drawing on 30 years experience and a background in architectural drafting, John-Paul’s ability to create tile solutions for even the most complex projects, is what he loves most.

His relationships with designers, builder’s and architects ensures he is at the forefront of industry trends and developments. This strengthens his ability to offer retail, commercial and architectural clients quality service and the latest in tile designs. Working closely with European factories, John-Paul is able to curate a unique collection, 90% of which is exclusive to livingtiles.

Favourite collection

Right now, John-Paul is loving the Concreto collection. An Italian made, porcelain floor and wall tile featuring PROTECT^® technology which eliminates up to 99.9% of surface bacteria.

In his downtime

When he’s not in the Showroom or on-site with a client, John-Paul’s likely to be on the golf course or spending time outdoors with his family.

Meet Martin  I  Sales Manager

Ask Martin about his career background and it is bursting with creativity. As a qualified Interior Designer, his creativity stems from working in Slovakia’s National Theatre as a Dancer and Choreographer, a degree in Dramatic Arts and experience as a Visual Merchandiser.

Martin uses these skills when pulling together design solutions for his clients. Providing schemes which challenge aesthetic boundaries while meeting the needs of his customers. His understanding of the tile industry and experience working with Designers, enhances the quality service that livingtiles customers have come to enjoy.

Favourite collection

Martin’s preferred collections are those that use texture and tactile elements to create a mood. The Ceppo collection does this using pebbles and grits to resemble the surface of the moon. Similarly, the Nextone Dark range creates a sultry and cocooning feeling using deep colour and texture.

Just for fun

Aside from Martin’s talents on the Showroom floor, he is also outstanding on the dance floor! Having taught Ballroom and Latin dancing for 5+ years, Martin credits his time in Darwin teaching Aboriginal kids to dance as one of his most fulfilling experiences.

Meet Marco  I  Sales Consultant

Hailing from Italy, Marco migrated to Australia in 2015. Armed with an Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying and a passion for design, Marco turned his attention to becoming a qualified Interior Designer.

Collaborating with residential clients to develop design schemes for their homes, is what Marco finds most satisfying. He enjoys the process of ‘designing on the fly’ during their first visit to the Showroom, through to refining their selections, delivering their tiles and finally seeing photos of the finished project.

Brands that inspire Marco include Spinzi Design, Versace and Vogue Living. He appreciates rich colours, patterns and a clever use of lines to create form and function.

There are quite a few but the Eterno Collection in arte grey and black ranks highly on Marco’s preferred products. A best-selling range, Marco enjoys the versatility of working with the Eterno series which is available in a wide selection of colours and finishes.

In his downtime

Marco enjoys a great cup of espresso while watching Italy’s Serie A Soccer league. His favourite club? 18 time league champions – A.C. Milan.

Meet Joanne  I  Sales Consultant  I  Accounts

A passionate sales consultant driven by helping clients create solutions they might not have considered, Joanne is motivated by the practicality of smart design.

20+ years in the tile industry has seen Joanne work across a number of areas including – sales, buying, customer service and accounts management. Her expertise and repeat loyal customer base are thanks to her personable and collaborative service style.

A qualified Interior Designer, Joanne is inspired by creating movement through texture and colour. When applying this to her tile schemes she enjoys working with Mosaics, Encaustic patterns and Terrazzo.

Favourite collection

Joanne loves the tactility and versatility of the Diesel Living collection. An extension of the global fashion house – Diesel, this range draws inspiration from the industrial and metropolitan to create edgy and inviting spaces.

Just for fun

Joanne loves a great day out shopping with the girls, and has always been interested in the way fashion trends and interiors are closely intertwined. This gives Joanne an edge when creating design solutions for her clients.

Meet Josie  I  Receptionist

Upon setting foot in the livingtiles showroom you’re likely to be greeted with a friendly smile from Josie. Her personable nature and rich experience in Customer Service make her a valuable member of the livingtiles team.

As a long-standing business owner in the luxury lighting industry, Josie is no stranger to working with clients in search of premium interior design solutions. With a passion for numbers and keeping things organised, Josie thrives working in a busy environment.

Josie is drawn to any collection that is used to create a colourful, flamboyant and exciting mood. Mostly because this best reflects her personality. Livingtiles diverse range of mosaics and patterned tiles are a great way to achieve this feeling.
